  12. Developer Training Position Open at NeXT (Redwood City, CA)

  14. NeXT Computer Inc. is seeking a highly-skilled and energetic person
  15. to join the Developer Training team.  The role of the Developer
  16. Trainer is to deliver and develop courses on programming NeXT
  17. computer systems.
  18.  
  19. The Developer Trainer will participate in evaluating the
  20. effectiveness of training and course materials, and help evolve the
  21. curriculum and programs to meet the needs of NeXT's customers, and
  22. track new NeXT software and hardware products.

  25. The skills required to fill this position successfully include:
  26.  
  27. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  28. + Ability to deliver classroom training
  29. + Knowledge of object-oriented programming and Objective-C
  30. + Knowledge of UNIX and MACH operating systems
  31. + Knowledge of PostScript
  32. + Knowledge of NEXTSTEP
  33. + Ability to develop and design course curriculum
  34.  
  35. The experience to fill this position successfully includes:
  36.  
  37. + Technical computing, commercial software development, corporate
  38. custom application development
  39. + Public presentation or training experience.
  40.  
  41. In addition, experience in program and user interface design,
  42. hardware troubleshooting, and administering NeXT computers are all
  43. desirable. This position requires a person who cares about people,
  44. and thrives in a team-oriented environment.  Some travel is
  45. required.
